Sports Lobby ("we", "our", or "us") is a mobile application that helps tennis players find and schedule matches. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information.

1. Information We Collect

When you use Sports Lobby, we collect the following:

• Account information: first name, last name, and email address, provided during sign-up.
• Profile information: gender, home zip code, NTRP skill rating, profile photo, and the states you are willing to play in.
• Opponent preferences: preferred opponent NTRP range and preferred opponent genders.
• Match data: availability windows you submit, match agreements, and match history.
• Messages: in-app chat messages exchanged with other players.
• Device token: a push notification token used to send you match alerts.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To match you with compatible tennis opponents based on your availability and preferences.
• To display your profile to other players you are matched with.
• To send push notifications about match requests and confirmations.
• To operate the in-app messaging feature between matched players.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

3. Information Shared With Others

When you are matched with another player, that player can see your first name, last name, NTRP rating, gender, and city derived from your zip code. Your profile photo, if set, is also visible to matched players.

We use the following third-party services to operate the app:

• Auth0 – handles authentication and login. See Auth0's Privacy Policy.
• Expo – delivers push notifications. See Expo's Privacy Policy.

4. Data Retention

Your account and profile data is retained for as long as your account is active. Match history and messages are retained to provide continuity of the service. You may request deletion of your data at any time (see Section 6).

5. Data Security

All data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS/WSS). We take reasonable technical measures to protect your information, but no system is completely secure.

6. Your Rights

You may request to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time by contacting us at tennissportslobby@gmail.com. We will respond within 30 days.

7. Children's Privacy

Sports Lobby is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
